Eminem Bars 'Weird Al' Parody Video (washingtonpost.com)

I have to give respect to Eminem for actually letting this happen. I even give him a little for wanting to keep some of this for himself. This quote just gets to me, though.

"...he didn't want to change kids' visual perception ..."

To this end, I have nothing respectful to say. Songs about killing his wife, other people killing their wives, humpin' around. Videos of him jumping off airplanes and beating up bands who treat an 11 year old audience as though they're still children. Yeah, our boy is all about the children, ain't he?

You may not want to mind this if you think a 30 year old man crying like a spoiled 12 year old is art. The song in question was almost art, but had some Prince synths. Oh, and you may not want to mind because my back went out today while I was dragged for hours in circles around two goddamn stores that sell sparkly things to hang in houses. I'm in pain and on meds, and very tired to boot.
