I can understand a ban on smoking in restaurants. I can understand bans on smoking in most public places.

Not bars.

These god damned stinking hippies finally went too far. By my count, they spend their days laying down on Congress Avenue and their nights making effeminate coughing noises in bars. I'm really starting to hate this town.

I'm the designated driver when I go out. While everyone else is drinking, I only get to have a few cigarettes. But not any more. For this reason, I refuse to go to any bar in the Austin area until this law is done away with.
