Screw Faerun
I'm talking about gamer stuff again, aren't I? This is different.
I'm gaining a distaste for the 3E Forgotten Realms setting. I won't say it sucks, or that I hate it, but it's getting bothersome. It's tricky enough when trying to find a D&D game which doesn't rely on Forgotten Realms in place of a DM Homebrew. It's worse when trying to run a homebrew game and people submit Forgotten Realms characters.
I mean, I'm nice about it and all. It's still frustrating when you work hard on information, and someone wants to over-extend his reach. These days, it's invariably some Forgotten Realms issue, too. It used to be Monte Cook's ranger.
On a final note, Monte Cook is an anagram of "One to Mock."
