No Time for Angst rant-off at EZ-Board.

I'm sure there has to be some online place, somewhere, left online where intelligent people can maybe get together and act like intelligent people. There's the likeliness that I'm just getting old, and I don't discount that.

Bitch First, Ask Questions Later is the trend. Moderators don't give a fuck. I mean, they're people too, unless you know the shit some of them are doing when none of their internet pals are looking. Rather, everywhere I go, some college student is in charge, stating that it's A-Ok for people to launch insults around. The great thing is that most of these people in charge lose just about all desire to remain in those areas once they become the working people, too.

We made the frame and mattress. You ordered the sheets, thus it's your bed made by you. I'll be sleeping elsewhere.

The new phrase is "we're not as bad as (another site)." I want to be absolutely clear on this: with a network this large, with terabytes a day flying to and from all manner of online communities, the one I'm pointing out got hostile is not as bad as another one? (1) No shit. (2) What a shitty goal. What this basically comes down to is: As long as I'm not being bullied either, I'm not going to do anything.

Hooray for the global online community.
