No Time for Angst rant-off at EZ-Board.

Got the drum tracks and basslines laid down for the Annie song I've been musing over. Wrote a good guitar line for the angst-metal (tentatively called "Your Angst") ballad. The guitar is actually sounding kind of cool for that.

Now, I'm using my computer as a drum machine. This is true. But it's a matter of need. My drums are 1500 miles away, and I have no money to buy more, nor the room to put them. Nor the means really to record them. So, I'll be using machines for that part. The guitar will be real, though. And the drums do have their limitations: anything outside of 4/4 music means extra hassle or using the tracker (which means lower quality drums). Forget trying any organic beats.

ABC Family has been showing a lot of movies with monkeys today, too. Cannonball Run 2: Jamie Farr and a monkey. Any Which Way But Loose: Clint Eastwood and a monkey. Monkeys make everything better.

Finished my work on the Craven blog last night. New link in the sidebar.
