No Time for Angst rant-off at EZ-Board.

I drew a lot of fire on the D&D boards for suggesting that people make art out of their art instead of making fun. Of course, stepping into a crowd of assmunches and asking them to stop making fun only draws their fire onto one's self.

What's fucked is this idea that I don't understand irony. I'm told this while thumbing through an ungodly collection of Frank Zappa albums and bootlegs. Soon, I will even own the Mothers concert that inspired "Smoke on the Water." I post photoshops to FARK that at least do okay and gain - on average - about 7 votes. But asking what making fun of people has to do with D&D tends to gain a person a following of dickblisters.

Maybe in all my inspiration as I work on this album and graphics and even make new web pages for a living, I've lost the ability to differentiate between an insult and a stale joke. But I doubt it.
    Good news:
  • Almost finished with one song for the album. Hooray!
  • Zappa and the Mothers bootlegs. Plus the Ramones at CBGBs.
  • Some nice people sent me some rare-as-hell Zappa compisitions. Outtakes from Hot Rats. It's even better than his album stuff.
