Star Drifter posted the following:
Yeah, been slacking on this blog. Work picked up in a big way, and roleplaying games have taken a back seat.
Quick highlights.:
- In 9 days I will at least put a nice TASCAM 4-Track on layaway. It is sexy with lots of knobs and things that apparently blink. I will soon record a rock opera.
- As of this morning, my mp3.com account is almost finally working. Link coming in about two weeks, when my songs get approved.
- I bought a microphone and a stand, since I couldn't afford the sexy TASCAM with blinky lights. I have nothing to plug it into.
- The above wasn't a smart thing to do, but I had fun.
- My hands hurt from working at the website.
- Finally got my dirty hands on Spacehog's "Resident Alien" and a Cowboy Mouth cd I wanted. Accidentally bought an EMF remix cd since it's not something you see every day.
In broader news, I'm taking a break from the WotC D&D Boards. Nothing against the staff there, but too many people think that it's their basic right as a human and an American to write offensive things on WotC's privately owned property. There is a cycle of
abuse happening again where someone says something obviously offensive, but if anyone
does get offended then they are informed that they're too stupid to get the joke, thus offending the poor guy again. I gave everyone there the virtual finger and split town.
I wouldn't mind a Wraith game. Right now, two of the three games I'm playing in at Shadowland are coming across as exceptionally vague and open-ended, and posting has been difficult. My strategy: post filler until something happens. People think I'm talented.
