No Time for Angst rant-off at EZ-Board.

Saw the PowerPuff Girls movie today. Great stuff. Absolutely great. It succeeded everywhere that the Spiderman movie failed. Everywhere.

The story is the same story we've been getting all this time. The angst was minimal. It had a whole bunch of monkeys. Miss Bellum didn't turn into an abused, self-tortured alternachick. There were no "teenage blog" moments. And - thankfully - no Bruce Campbell. Finally, it had Mojo Jojo.

Also, I've been eating meat for breakfast. Yesterday was a sausage, egg, end cheese on a bun deal at a Jack in the Box. Today, chicken eggrolls. Meat is good for you. Eat some, and it will make you happy. So will the PowerPuff Girls movie.

For the record, Spider-Man sucked. Turning Mary Jane into a tormented doe eyed broad made the whole movie turn sour. It changed Uncle Ben from an upright citizen to a hypocrite. What kind of man lets the neighbor do that to a little girl for thirteen years, and starts preaching about responsibility to others? Words do not get vulgar enough to describe what a joke that movie was.
