No Time for Angst rant-off at EZ-Board.

It's a slow day. I had to go trolling again just for something to do.

Luris_Blear / Mon Jul 01 14:03:26 MDT 2002 [4436]
*Luris walks to the first open table and begins sulking. He sulks because he's sad, and he's sad because he can't stop sulking.*

Seamus / Mon Jul 01 14:07:12 MDT 2002 [4438]
Carrying the tray, with what is requested, she stops before Luris_Blear s table.
As the [ALE] warms, you can smell the fragrance.
The cook grilled this [MEAT] only a bit ago.

Luris_Blear / Mon Jul 01 14:08:40 MDT 2002 [4439]
*Luris drinks his ale. He then remembers that alcohol is a depressant, and suffers a minor mood swing. Feeling even sadder now, Luris enters a state of melancholia*

Luris_Blear / Mon Jul 01 14:12:47 MDT 2002 [4440]
*Luris begins eating the meat. Then, he pauses in realization that some poor beast has died for his nourishment. Dead animals make him sadder, so he begins drinking more ale. As his alcohol-induced stupor grows, so does his angst.*

A_Monk / Mon Jul 01 14:15:25 MDT 2002 [4441]
Listening he here's Luris_Blear say:
Why am I so sad?
and responds:
Knowing ignorance is strength. Ignoring knowledge is sickness. If one is sick of sickness, then one is not sick. The sage is not sick because he is sick of sickness. Therefore he is not sick.

Luris_Blear / Mon Jul 01 14:17:21 MDT 2002 [4442]
*Luris gets sick on the floor, sending warm ale and small piles of half-chewed animal remains to the floor.*

Luris_Blear / Mon Jul 01 14:21:43 MDT 2002 [4444]
*Turns into a purple bat and flies away.*

Kesali_Morovia / Mon Jul 01 14:22:34 MDT 2002 [4445]
~blinks~.. wow... that doesn't happen to often here *lol*

By the way, Seamus and that Monk dude were bots. Bots, of course, are small programs which look like users in a given chat room. Seamus has a "user picture" of an old guy with a beard. Despite that, she was able to bring me some drinks very easily. This "Kesali" person came into the chat room just as I was leaving. (S)he isn't a bot.
